PSOAE is a diverse collection of talented local and regional 2D artists who proudly represent the visual arts component of the Piccolo Spoleto Festival. For each of the last 45 years, our show has transformed outdoor spaces into one of the largest free-to-the-public art galleries in South Carolina. This year, the works of 53 artists will be on display for your enjoyment and available for purchase. There’s something for everyone!
Our 2025 exhibition marks the beginning of a new and exciting era. In late 2024, with the encouragement and support of the Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs, PSOAE transitioned to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This opens exciting opportunities for our show to grow and advance into the future. We pride our show as being a positive force for the advancement of our artists and offering a wonderful meeting point for the artists and our valued community of art lovers and supporters. Proverbs 31: 14-17
She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She rises also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.
